Over the last ten years, Elizabeth has developed her career in the education sector, working both within the classroom and in a managerial context. During her time as a Deputy Headteacher, she took on numerous leadership responsibilities including assessment, literacy, child protection and safeguarding. As part of this role, she delivered both in-house and Consortia-wide training and contributed to several working parties, with a collective aim on raising standards. A key aspect of Elizabeth’s role focussed on analysing end of key stage data to inform whole school strategic planning and target setting.

During her career, Elizabeth has had first-hand experience of dealing with the challenges facing vibrant inner-city schools. She has worked extensively on addressing the needs of vulnerable learner groups, including pupil deprivation, English as an additional language and special educational needs.

Elizabeth understands the importance of working to meet the needs of various stakeholders and is experienced at delivering results to meet challenging expectations.
