At Praesidio we design and deliver child protection and prevention programmes aimed at keeping children safe from harm. To do so, we work collaboratively with affected groups and communities including children and young people themselves, parents, professionals, faith leaders and other community actors.
We currently run innovative child protection and prevention programmes in a range of African counties. Our programmes are focused on addressing children’s vulnerability to online harm in the context of the rapid and recent uptake of digital technologies. We are also working to address some of the most extreme harms facing marginalised and vulnerable children including the interlinked issue of missing and trafficked children and child sacrifice.
