Chris is an expert in strategic organisational transformation and development, programme and project delivery, financial strategy, planning and governance, as well as leading, motivating and advising senior professionals to ensure the day-to-day smooth running of any business. Chris is dedicated to ensuring rigour, efficiency and excellence in every organisation.
For many years, Group General Manager of SHM, a global specialist provider of business services. Responsible for leading teams in financial management, business planning, contract management, governance, legal compliance, resourcing and overall business operations (including HR and IT).
Currently non-executive director of Leaders Unlocked, a specialist social enterprise that helps organisations to engage effectively with young people and under-served groups. Also Chair of the Board of the Women’s Equality Party Ltd, Trustee/Treasurer of Just Like Us and elected to the Board of the Football Supporters Association. Chris brings a considerable experience and expertise in setting strategic direction, finance, legals, HR, governance and overall business operations to these organisations; acting as a ‘critical friend’ to senior teams, providing crucial challenge and support around strategy, systems and policies.
Chris is a lifelong Spurs supporter and season ticket holder who believes football can be a positive force in social and cultural transformation. As a member of the FA’s Inclusion Advisory Board, Co-Chair of Proud Lilywhites (the official Tottenham Hotspur LGBT+ Supporters Association), appointee to the Fans for Diversity Guidance Group, and member of Women in Football, she is part of a movement seeking to rid football of discrimination in all its forms and make the game diverse, inclusive and equal.
