Zoé Colpaert is the Prevention Programme Manager at Praesidio Safeguarding, joining in 2026. She is co-managing and overseeing Praesidio’s multi-country programme across East and West Africa, aiming to better prevent online child sexual exploitation and child sacrifice.

Zoé’s experience focuses on understanding, preventing, responding to, and supporting victims of, child sexual abuse and exploitation, especially online. In her past roles as Regional Program Manager – Europe at the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (ICMEC) and  International Development Officer at the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), she has been working with a range of stakeholders to better protect children worldwide, and ensure every country has the capacity to do so.

Zoé holds a master’s degree in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from SOAS, University of London, and a undergraduate degree in Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick. Her research focused on sexual violence as a political weapon and a weapon of war. She speaks French, welcomes anyone willing to practice Portuguese with her, and needs to dust off her Spanish!
