Kerry is a global specialist in protection (general, child protection, GBV, inclusion and mainstreaming), human rights, safeguarding, and criminal justice.
With experience working across academia, NGO, government, and UN agencies, Kerry is adept at researching, designing and implementing practical solutions to complex protection problems, with a focus on community and survivor centred approaches. Over the past twenty years Kerry has worked across the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. She has led investigations into sexual exploitation and abuse, as well as into wider human rights abuses, largely in humanitarian contexts. She is an adept trainer, having developed and delivered training programmes on a variety of protection and justice issues for communities, NGO staff, military, police and prison services.
Kerry is published in the field of criminal justice and has authored and advised on the development of policy related to safeguarding, and human rights.
