Tracy is an independent social worker currently undertaking a wide range of assessments for local authorities and private agencies, including parenting, Form F fostering and Special Guardianship assessments. Qualifying over ten years ago at Brunel University, Tracy started her career as a social worker for the London Borough of Ealing in a high pressured referrals and assessment team. She then went on to work with both Hertfordshire County Council and the London Borough of Islington. Through these roles, Tracy has extensive experience as a specialist domestic violence social worker, as well as managing complex domestic violence assessments; in particular assessing risk to children and women.

Following this, Tracy joined the National Crime Agency, CEOP command under a secondment from the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children as an advisor in the child protection team. In this post, Tracy managed child protection components of investigations for CEOP command. Tracy has travelled extensively, working on major criminal investigations involving the sexual exploitation of children online and offline. She has also participated in CEOP’s training programme , delivering training internationally and UK wide on topics ranging from safeguarding children, internet awareness, child sexual exploitation and how to interview children. Tracy has also managed a London front line social work team, contributing to raising standards of practice through the implementation of a performance focussed approach and mentoring less experienced frontline staff.
